Thought At Work is a three day design conference held in Rochester, NY for students and by students. It bridges the gap between the academic and professional worlds by providing a platform to collaborate, learn, and connect.
The outreach for the conference was done digitally and through print. Our main action was through poster located through the RIT campus. The long format of the posters would draw the view in and through the poster.
The direction was determined by myself and Joe Hodapp, the other lead designer. The final look ended in an editorial style using FS Elliot and Bodoni for the typeface choices. The logo lockup reflects the balance between the two with a fixed weight line. The photography concept was to feel weightless in color which was captured from ink in water. Photography edited by Devon Cherry and Abbey Smith.
When I found out that students were putting on their own conference, I was floored.
